Spam

Homeguru does not tolerate spam. We will terminate our relationship with any individual or business using spam (when proven to be the case). Our affiliates, as well as individuals and businesses having joint ventures with us, are also subject to this policy. To report spam, please contact us.

Unauthorized Opt-In

Homeguru does not tolerate the unauthorized subscription of third party e-mail addresses. If it is proven that an e-mail address is subscribed to our system without the owner's (i.e. an individual or business) permission (when proven to be the case), the ISP or Web Host will be contacted to terminate the user on its system, responsible for the unauthorized subscription - that is, should we be able to identify and locate the user's ISP or Web Host. Homeguru has a double opt-in policy. When we receive a subscription request, a confirmation email is sent to the subscribed email address. The subscriber's email address will only be activated once the subscription was confirmed. Fraud and Illegal Activities

Homeguru does not tolerate fraud and illegal activities. Therefore, we will inform the relevant authorities about any entity attempting to use or using our systems, software, information, products or services for fraudulent and illegal activities (when proven to be the case). In case of civil proceedings, we will pursue and prosecute such entities. We will also terminate any relationship to prevent any further fraudulent or illegal activities. Privacy Policy

Homeguru believes in personal privacy (please see our Privacy Policy). We uphold the right of personal privacy and information security on and off the Internet (i.e. online and offline databases). Our customer list and database is private and will never be sold or given away (i.e. individuals' or business' names, e-mail addresses, as well as any other confidential information about our customers or subscribers). Our affiliates and joint business partners will not have any access to this information either. Unsubscribe Policy

Homeguru has an unsubscribe policy. Any individual or business asking to have his/her or its e-mail address deleted out of our private opt-in-database, will automatically be unsubscribed. In the event where an individual do receive email from Homeguru and whishes to terminate our transmission to that specific email address, the user may unsubscribe by making use of our prescribed contact methods. The unsubscribed email address will then be removed from our mailing list and database within 24 hours.

Information Collection Policy

Homeguru collects information from our web site visitors who requests information from us through our various contact pages. We also collect information from subscribers and customers deciding to complete periodic surveys. From customers (i.e. individuals or businesses) purchasing some of our products or services, we only collect enough information from our customers to complete financial transactions. In some instances, where deemed necessary, we might also collect information from our subscribers and customers to help us determine their demographics and personal profiles, without being too personal.
